S C H O O L

i am a teacher
and go to school 3 times a week
i love my job (at one of the finest schools)
and my students!

it is the end of the first period
the students have finished their projects
and i have to review all their work

hereby i want to show you some images
first: some of my (second year) mentor students
second and third: two scale models of a shopwindow
fourth: one of the product presentations by first year students
not the best quality of images, sorry!

for several reasons this has been a tough period
but being a teacher is one of the things i like best!

T O D A Y

i found this image of a pinboard i made sometime ago
as an insparation for a series of linocuts
about gardening, memories and flowers
the images are now in a box
for when i have more time....

today for the first time i had the idea
i'm going to make it
i will get this work (for my work!) done
before the holiday begins
and that feels so nice!
after that there will be time ;^))

outside a blackbird sings
despite the tough rain showers
i look at that image
and think of these words:

'If I cannot do great things,
I can do small things
in a great way.'
